Curation Elective Journal.

On trying to compile my notes and journal for my elective I found that it was spread across a range of different notebooks and scraps of paper.

In order to make it easier for myself and provide a record of online resources and links for further research, I have compiled it into this blog. Although not strictly a journal, in the traditional sense, it works much better for me and hopefully will also help others in their research.

Sharmadean Reid’s WAH Nails is not just a nail salon (where you can get ace designs and bejeweled digits) it is also a gallery space and another example of a curated shop. They are the sole Uk stockist of Stussy Girl and also sell Sharma-scoured vintage clothes and a great selection of vintage records, zines and mags.

The current exhibition is by illustrator Niki Pilkington and all the Wah news and nail designs can be found over on their blog.
